RigRelay Technologies LLC (“RigRelay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the RigRelay platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information. Name, email address, phone number, employer (dealership), job role, and login credentials.
Business and Transaction Data. Parts orders, quotes, service requests, account-specific pricing, purchase history, fleet data (VIN, year, make, model, unit number), and dealership account identifiers.
Communications. Messages, support requests, and any content you submit through the Services, including SMS and email correspondence with us or your dealership.
Device and Usage Data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, language preference, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps of activity.
Location Data. Approximate location based on IP address, and, where you grant permission, more precise location to support multi-location parts fulfillment, shuttle routing, and emergency service requests.
Information from Third Parties. We integrate with dealership management systems (such as CDK Drive via the Fortellis API platform) and may receive customer, inventory, and transaction information from those systems with dealership authorization.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Process parts orders, quotes, and service requests
- Maintain account history and institutional memory features
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, and service issues
- Send transactional messages (order confirmations, quote responses, parts availability, service updates)
- Provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
- Develop new features and analyze usage trends
3. SMS and Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number, you may receive SMS messages from RigRelay related to your account and orders, including order confirmations, quote responses, parts availability alerts, service appointment updates, and account notifications.
Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms for full opt-in details.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
With Your Dealership. Information you provide as a dealership customer is shared with the dealership account you are associated with, as is necessary for the Services to function.
With Service Providers. We share information with vendors who support our operations (cloud hosting, communications infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, customer support tools) under contracts that require them to protect your information.
For Legal Reasons. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or lawful requests from public authorities, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of RigRelay, our users, or others.
Business Transfers. If RigRelay is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication, row-level data isolation between accounts, and complete audit logging. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with industry best practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and transaction history may be retained longer to support institutional memory features that benefit dealership accounts.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You can update your account information through the Services or by contacting your dealership administrator.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International Users
The Services are operated in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email.
